Delivery of Goods

You must do all that you reasonably can to enable delivery or collection to take place within the stated time period. If you delay delivery, or delivery fails because you have not taken appropriate steps ensure availability, we will try to arrange a further delivery attempt within 30 days of the failed delivery. If delivery fails as a result of circumstances within your reasonable control, the cost of any re-delivery shall be borne by you. If we are unable to arrange a date for re-delivery we may cancel your order and refund to you the price that you have paid for the goods, less the failed delivery costs.

Please check your delivery thoroughly upon receipt to check for any discrepancy in items or quantities delivered.  Should you find your order to be incorrect, incomplete or only part-delivered, please let us know within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. 

Delivery times quoted are a guideline only, and rely on the efficiency of the selected postal services and/or couriers.  We cannot be held responsible for any loss of earnings or costs incurred by any delay in delivery. Please also note orders placed after 2pm may not be processed until the following working day.

Overseas customers please be aware that your country may apply import taxes or customs charges to release your goods.  This is not included in our shipping quotes and any taxation or charges enforced by customs is the responsibility of the recipient and not LocksOnline.

Upon delivery of the goods to you or collection of the goods by you, the goods shall be solely at your risk and responsibility. Ownership of any goods shall not pass to you until any outstanding balance on your account has been paid in full and we have confirmed receipt of payment.  Should this be the case with your purchase, until any outstanding balances have been paid by you and receipt of payment confirmed by us, you must keep our property separate from your own property, clearly marked as Property of LocksOnline, and you grant us irrevocable license to enter any of your your premises necessary to retrieve our products should your account be overdue.


We offer Free Delivery on all orders over £60.00 ex VAT to the United Kingdom, however, orders below this value will cost £6.50 + VAT. Due to costs imposed on us by all carriers, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Shetland, The Hebrides and the Highland region of northern Scotland may attract a higher charge.We are also able to deliver to addresses ouside the UK.

The shipping charge can be seen by using the calculator in the shopping cart. This enables you to calculate the total price of your order before registering or entering shipping details.

 The carrier may vary dependent on the goods being despatched but we would ask you to allow 10 days for delivery. We would expect , however, to despatch most stock items within 48hrs of receiving your order. If your order is going to be delayed for any reason we will inform you and, where possible, give you a delivery date by e-mail.
We are unable to deliver to PO boxes.


Returns and Refund Policy

The shopper has the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt of the goods.  We must be informed of cancellation in writing. If the shopper does cancel their order, they will have the cost of the goods, including any delivery charges, refunded provided that any returned goods are received by us in original packaging, in saleable condition and within 14 days of the customer informing us of their intention to cancel. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

Finally we have a right to deduct an amount (currently 25%) from the reimbursement (or charge a consumer) if he has diminished the value of the goods by handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function. The Regulations establish a test as to whether consumers have handled the goods in a way beyond what might reasonably be allowed in a shop.

In the case of keys cut to a code provided by the customer, NO returns will be accepted.

Faulty goods and goods sent in error will, of course, be credited in full.
